October 4, 2008 - Youth/ Ringneck Event - South Dakota Pheasant Hunt at Lynn Lake Lodge in Webster, S. Dakota. This is our annual South Dakota Youth Event which includes trap shooting, hunter safety, and time with dog handlers who will provide instruction on hunting for birds with dogs. The adult guides will also take the youth participants into the fields to try to bag a few roosters. Pheasants Forever will be filming the event for their television program. Our PF chapter is once again sponsoring disabled hunters and volunteering at the upcoming Disabled Hunt at Whispering Emerald Ridge Game Farm which is located south of Menomonie, WI. If you are interested in participating as a volunter, please contact Dave Swenson. The event typically run from 8:30 AM till around 3:00 PM, and their are both AM and PM shifts for the volunteers.

Please join us at Kelly Farms for a dog training seminar with Ed Erickson, owner of Autumn Breeze Kennels. This event is free, but please RSVP so we know how many to expect.
Kelly Farms is located north of Stillwater. From Hwy. 36, go 10 miles north on Manning Ave. From Hwy. 61, go 4.5 miles east on Hwy 4 and 1.5 miles south on Manning.
A light lunch will follow the demonstrations.
This event is sponsored by Ramsey-Washington County Pheasants Forever Chapter.
Signs will be located on Manning Ave by the farm house to direct you to the appropriate field.
Please DO NOT bring your dogs. This is a demonstration event.
This event will be held outdoors (rain or shine) in a field. It is recommended that you bring a chair and weather appropriate clothing.

You are invited to participate in a Youth Trap and Rifle Shoot Tuesday, August 25, 2009 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM Oakdale Gun Club 10386 North 10th Street Lake Elmo, MN 55042 ¼ mile east of 10th Street and Keats Avenue Activities will include Trap and .22 rifle shooting. Ammo and targets will be provided Food and Beverages will be provided. Participants will receive a Pheasants Forever Ringneck membership This event is free of charge for youth and parents/guardians This event is limited to 30 participants on a first-come basis Registration is required by Saturday, August 15th Participants must have completed DNR firearms safety training .22 rifles only (no handguns), single shot or bolt action preferred Bring your own rifle /shotgun (preferred) or we will provide Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian Register NOW and sharpen your shooting skills before the hunting season!
